NATURAL NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN WILTSHIRE
YOUR BABY, CAPTURED AT THEIR TINIEST AT YOUR RELAXED NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
The newborn bubble is so fleeting; your newborn photoshoot documents your baby at their tiniest, from their fluffy shoulders to their beautiful toes. In these early days, you’ll more than likely feel tired, a little sore and sometimes overwhelmed but I promise that you won’t regret taking time to step into my cosy photography studio in Salisbury, Wiltshire to dedicate a couple of hours to just marvelling at and cuddling the new love of your life. Alternatively, I can visit you for your newborn photoshoot at home.
Newborn sessions are typically held in the first 6 weeks when baby is brand new, though I offer newborn shoots at any point up to 4 months. Book in anytime after your first scan and we will pencil you in a couple of weeks after your due date; if baby arrives much earlier or later than expected, or if either of you need a little longer before you’re ready for your shoot, we can adjust the date. Session durations are always flexible to allow for feeds, nappy changes and plenty of cuddles.

MY APPROACH
My hope is that your shoot will feel like visiting a friend, in fact many of my clients come from word of mouth after people have enjoyed their session and recommended me to people they know! We’ll take our time, chat about anything and everything and all the while, I’ll give you gentle direction and guidance so that together we can create images that you can treasure. I’ll guide tired mums and reluctant dads in to natural positions and older siblings are always welcome to come along too.

STYLING
I have a carefully curated client wardrobe of items you can borrow to wear for your shoot if you would like; not only does this help to reduce the cost for you but my pieces are tried and tested and sure to make you look and feel wonderful. I also have a selection of soft blankets to wrap baby in as well as simple clothes that baby can wear; of course you can bring along a special outfit for baby to wear as well if you’d like.

SIBLINGS
Newborn shoots will always include photos with siblings in (unless you’d prefer to just bring baby, which is absolutely fine!). While some siblings take new babies in their stride and love every minute of showing them off during the shoot, please rest assured that I’m well practised with those little ones who are still finding their feet as a big brother or sister. My approach is low-pressure and low-stress and we’ll guide them gently into joining in when they’re ready.

WHERE TO HAVE YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT

My studio is a cosy, comfortable space which I built with photoshoots in mind. It has soft, flattering light, always music playing in the background and is a space away from your day-to-day life for your relaxed newborn shoot. There’s parking just outside, the kettle will always have just boiled and there’s a comfy sofa for you to relax on.

If packing up a bag and getting out of the house in those newborn days feels like too much, I can come to you for a relaxed, baby-led newborn photoshoot in your home in Wiltshire, Dorset or Hampshire. We will capture cosy moments in your own surrounding, documenting your baby’s first home as well as their own tiny details.

Access to my client wardrobe - a carefully curated selection of clothes for mums and babies as well as beautiful blankets for baby.
A shoot lasting 1-2 hours. Newborn shoots are typically held on a Wednesday. Saturdays are also available but there are a limited number of weekend slots per month and these get booked up quickly!
Newborn pictures with siblings and parents as well as on their own.
A fully edited gallery of 50+ images.
10 images to download from your gallery and keep forever, with the option to upgrade if you would like more images and/or printed products.
Session cost:
Studio: Salisbury studio newborn photoshoot : £330
In-home: Newborn photoshoot in your own home : £400 Wednesday / £450 weekend
Your booking is secured with a £100 deposit, with the remainder of the session cost due the day before your session.
